Say what you want about Sydney, you can love or hate the city, but there’s no denying that it has some of the most amazing restaurants in Australia! With Valentine’s Day coming up (yes, January is already finishing up), having a few restaurants in mind to maybe check out with that special someone isn’t a bad idea. If you’re not a fan of the V-Day celebrations, believe us, the delicious food is good any day of the year. So, book your Mynder, and start checking out some of these incredible restaurants!

Restaurant Hubert

Restaurant Hubert is hands down the best French restaurant in Sydney, and to back up that claim, we’ve got the Good Food Guide on our side (two hats = fancy). The atmosphere is amazing on its own, with low, warm lighting and live jazz performances, but the important thing is the food. You can choose between the banquet or the a-la-carte menu, and everything is good. We recommend this place if you’re looking for something particularly fancy!

Ho Jiak

Did someone say amazing Malaysian food? Yes, we did, and it’s at Ho Jiak in Haymarket. I cannot stress enough how good this food is, and you’ll be pleased to know that it’s CHEAP. The restaurant was named the number one ‘best cheap eat’ in Sydney according to Time Out – yeah, those guys – so we trust it! With the Chinese New Year coming up, the Chinatown area is going to be bustling with fun festivities, but this is probably the best place you could stop for dinner!

LP’S Quality Meats

LP’S is all about serving you up amazing meat. We’re talking delicious cold cuts, and some of the best meat in Sydney. The restaurant vibe is trendy yet casual, the theme has been pared back so the food can speak for itself – so expect butchers paper on silver trays for your serving plate, but don’t let that fool you. The Good Food Guide granted this place a hat, so you don’t just have to trust our opinions. This is great if you’re after a relaxed dining experience, whilst still treating yourself (or your partner) to an amazing meal.

Yellow

Calling all of our vegan and vegetarian readers! Yellow is one of the best places in Sydney to eat – it just happens to all be vego. They have an expansive menu and they’re one of the only places to get a proper vegan fine dining experience in the city. Their long list of awards speaks for itself, from winning best degustation, to being granted a hat from the Good Food Guide. So, if you’re looking for an incredible, fancy, vego place for dinner, definitely put Yellow at the top of your list.

Continental Deli

The best things in life are cheese (and maybe your kids). Continental Deli is the go-to place for an atmospheric dining experience that specialises in cocktails, wine and gourmet cheese. There’s a fully decked out, hatted restaurant too, but the real star of this place is the incredible cheese. If you’re on the lookout for a trendy hang out spot before or after the main event of your evening, or just a trendy lunch location, we highly recommend checking out Continental Deli.

Have we made you hungry yet? Probably, so book yourself a Mynder and make a reservation at one of these amazing restaurants!
